Earth-Friendly Golf Tees
Earth-Friendly Golf Tees are made in Nebraska from surplus USA grown wheat. A sustainable resource that saves birch trees (wood tees) or oil (plastic tees) and supports U.S. agriculture. Biodegradable and biocompostable to the highest standard (ASTM D6400-04), they quickly disappear, eliminating golf course litter. Amazingly the tees will turn from solid to fertilizing compost after 90 days in the ground! Available in 2 1/8 inch and 2 3/4 inch lengths and a combo pack. They make great earth-friendly gifts for your golfing friends. ***NOTE*** We have found that for a typical golf swing our wheat tees are as durable as wood tees. A few very powerful swingers have found them to break more often with oversized drivers. Since they are biocompostable they just quickly become plant food for the tee box grass.
